Fees for payment gateways apply based on whichever type you use to cover their costs which all payment gateways use on each transaction. Direct bank transfer is a fixed cost while all others are based on percentages.
If you want to send us an email with all the necessary details for your order (instead of using our webshop by yourself), there will be a 50€ administration fee and we will create an order for you, make your account on our webshop based on your email and prepare your order for the payment. We encourage all RC sailors to make orders on our webshop and complete the payment through our Checkout on our webshop so that you avoid any unnecessary fees and that we can focus more on building excellent RC sailboats and their parts! 🙂

• STANDARD SHIPPING -> HR POST (GLOBAL DELIVERY: 10 – 65 WORKING DAYS, PLEASE NOTE: tracking code for HR Post is updated only when the item leaves Croatia, Zagreb and when it arrives at the destination country, in-between location is not refreshed. This shipping method does not offer insurance if the package gets lost, but our estimate is that around 98% of all packages are delivered successfully. Also, it is the slowest but most affordable way to ship items from our factory, you should receive it with your postal service in your country, for example, USPS in the USA.)
• SHIPPING COURIER/DELIVERY -> DPD, FedEx or TNT (GLOBAL DELIVERY 3 – 8 WORKING DAYS APPROXIMATELY, tracking code updated regularly. This is the most secure and very fast way to ship, insurance is included in case anything happens to your parcel)
• DELIVERY ON EVENT / UPCOMING SAILING EVENTS -> PERSONAL PICKUP (If possible, email us first, VAT charges will be applied with this option, but you can get a discount coupon code on the full amount of VAT if you fill our small paperwork needed to fill it in on Customs upon exiting Croatia. That way you will send us those papers after you return home and we will send you the full amount of VAT in form of our discount coupon code on any purchase!)

SHIPPING COVID19 NOTICE & NEW REGULATIONS :
The following countries have restricted shipping for Post shipping (HR Post method only, our Shipping/courier delivery is not affected by this restriction!). Here is an UPDATED list of countries that can’t use the HR Post shipping method: Australia (smaller orders of only up to 2kg are ALLOWED for AUS!), Bangladesh, Barbados, Belarus, Chile, Colombia, Iceland, Indonesia, New Zealand (smaller orders of only up to 2kg are ALLOWED for NZ!), Paraguay, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, Singapore, South Africa, Uruguay. Orders for Russia can be shipped only B2B, not B2C (so only on the company address, not on personal address in Russia!)

ORDERS SPECIAL NOTICE (starts from 2.7.2021.): Due to our shop being moved to bigger and more advanced production facilities as we are upgrading our factory and also because many materials are late until they reach out us, please notice that all orders will be shipped little bit later than stated on the website items page. IOM & Victoria sails and IOM rigs (and Custom sails) will take around 30 days to be shipped and K2 IOM sailboats will probably be shipped later for around 20 days later than promised on the website items page. If you ordered and completed Checkout by placing the order and paying for the order, you will get a confirmation on the website and an email. After that, your order is under Processing (you can check it when you log in to your account on our website always with your log in details if you created an account while making the order). We usually ship within 25 days, (+/- 5 days) depending on how complex the order is (sails manufacturing takes more time than fittings from IOM class or some spare parts for DF65 class for example, any orders of DF65 parts we usually ship in around 15 days). Make sure you read the description of the item as on some rare occasions we state lead time on the product, for another example, there is a waiting list for “K2” IOM sailboat so it is understandable that you will have to wait more than it is stated here: 4 months is our fastest standard time for Premium “K2” IOM boat (unless you are in a big hurry and want to pay extra fee for even faster production time, in that case, please email us so we will see what can we do). A tracking code will be sent once the order leaves so you can follow up on it, please check the FAQ here for more information on shipping and tracking.

SMALLER PARTS FOR IOM (WINCH, DRUM, SERVO, BATTERY, DECK PATCHES) HAVE 6 MONTHS WARRANTY, BUT WE GUARANTEE FOR ALL OUR PARTS TO WORK WHEN MANUFACTURED AND DELIVERED TO YOU. WE ALSO USE MATERIALS AND ELECTRONICS OF THE HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE, AS WE STRIVE TO BE PREMIUM QUALITY MANUFACTURERS. OUR ACHIEVED RESULTS STAND BEHIND US. * The warranty doesn’t cover normal wear and tear or any damage, failure or loss caused by improper assembly, maintenance, storage or misuse as we can’t be responsible if someone treats his equipment improperly.*

IN THE FIRST CASE IT WILL BE DELIVERED TO YOU AND IN THE SECOND CASE (ITEM MISSING) YOU WILL GET A REFUND IF YOU USED INSURANCE.

Side note: CUSTOM K2 ORDERS MIGHT HAVE SMALL VISIBLE MARKS SUCH AS DIFFERENT SHADES OF SAME COLOR OF HULL (ONLY VERY SMALL VISUAL MARKS, NO WORRIES REALLY AND THIS CAN MAYBE HAPPEN ALSO IN TINY PROPORTION OF ALL ORDERS), BUT ALL OF OUR HULLS ARE OF EXCELLENT QUALITY, WE DO QUALITY CHECK AND BALANCING BEFORE WE SHIP. PREMIUM K2 ORDERS WILL NOT HAVE ANY AESTHETICAL MARKS, BUT THAT IS WHY THERE IS ALSO HIGHER PRICE ON THEM, WE DO MORE WORK AND EVEN THROW AWAY HULLS WHICH ARE NOT PERFECT AND BRILLIANT SO THIS RAISES OUR COSTS A LOT. BOTH QUALITY (PERFORMANCE) AND AESTHETICAL LOOK ARE SUPER IMPORTANT FOR US SO YOU SHOULD NOT BE WORRIED BY THIS, IT HAPPENED ON RARE OCCASIONS FOR PASTEL BLUE AND SILVER-GREY COLORS OF HULLS. 🙂
PLEASE NOTE: BUYER PAYS SHIPPING EXPENSES FOR REFUNDS AND WARRANTY AS WELL AS PAYMENT FEES (WHEN THERE ARE NEEDED RETURNS OF ITEMS BACK TO US). IN WARRANTY REPAIRS WE COVER THE EXPENSE OF SHIPPING BACK TO YOU (AND WE REPLACE OR REPAIR THE ITEMS IF THEY ARE MALFUNCTIONING AND ARE NOT THE RESULT OF INAPPROPRIATE HANDLING OR BAD MAINTENANCE; ETC.), THAT PART OF THE COST IS ON US. DAMAGED ITEMS BY INAPPROPRIATE HANDLING OR ANY KIND OF MISUSE OF THE ITEMS ARE NOT ACCEPTED UNDER WARRANTY (for example: if the buyer damages the servo or winch by allowing water to penetrate the hull if there is a bigger force applied on keel so hull cracks, etc.)
If you already have your own RigBox and you wish to order only Complete Rigs from us, there is no need to buy new Rig Box from us (although we recommend it as it is being praised by many professional RC sailors around the world!). So, what you can do is next, simply order your desired Complete Rigs (+ sails if you want) and instead of adding Rig Box to your Cart, simply add the following item: https://www.sailboatrc.com/product/packaging-for-rigs-no-rigbox-option/
That item is a special shipping case which will enable secure shipping of your Rigs to your location wherever you are in the world. It is necessary either to order item “Rig Box” or item “Packaging for rigs (no RigBox option) instead of it. One of those items must be in your Cart with your Rigs, you get to pick which one do you prefer. 🙂
K2 IOM hull has many specialities which make him super fast and reliable with excellent quality. Imagine that after many years of usage and memories, you transfer it to your kids even, that is definitely manageable with our K2 if you take good care of it and it will be one astonishing gift for them for sure! 🙂
“K2” IOM hull outer shell (surface) is made from pigmented UP-based gelcoat which give us very good hull characteristics such as:
– Excellent connection between the gelcoat layer and the epoxy laminate
– Extra protection from environmental influences and harmful UV radiation
Pigmented UP and epoxy gelcoat are used rather than paint. The main advantages are:
– Hard & resistant outer shell
– Hydrodynamic smooth surface: easier to maintain during the boat lifetime,
– Enhancing the overall ability of the hull shell to retain the original shape
– Scratches over time are less visible
– Any needed repairs are straightforward
– Easy restore of original surface finish using wet sanding and polishing
– Smoother removal of Dacron self-adhesive patches without accidental peeling of deck surface paint

So, you are having troubles with low wind, or your sailboat nose dives while there is stronger wind? Fear not, let us dive in into some basics for all of you trying to get better in every regatta.
For trim & K2 IOM optimization in light wind conditions, put sail boom in the center, jib should go on 55 mm from centerline of the mast to centerline of the boom, mainsail leech should be on 45 mm from centerline and leech from jib should be on 80 mm from the centerline. We tend to have nice “belly” in our sails in the light wind conditions to put it more in pictures with words so you can get where we aim better. What can also help is to try and catch wind which blows little bit above, higher from surface. To do that, adjust your sails on higher positioning (jib can move up on mast holes) and use the tip of your main sail so that it captures the winds which blow easily there but not close to the surface of the water.
Here are some more tips for stronger wind conditions: try and observe the regatta (race) field in wide specter (area) to see where the strong gust will hit first. Before it hits your K2 you must speed up with the sailboat and then enter into strong gust (wind) area. That way, K2 will nosedive minimally or almost nothing and you will accelerate like never before. Other things which can help is tilting the rigs more backwards, to the stern, or/and moving jib pivot upfront, forward. Try and play with those options, but the key is to speed up as much as possible before the strong wind gust hits you. Also, K2 is designed to surf downing not to nose dive and stern up! The idea is to keep the stern down as long as possible. Hope our guidelines will be helpful as they work great for us and others in those situations, but you will have to train little bit of course in order to execute it like a true RC pro sailor! Extra explanation for K2:
Sailboat RC’s “Kantun 2” is built to be as “state-of-the-art” design and to be easy and intuitive to sail with speed and also excellent in taking & gybing. The idea is to have a high-quality sailboat for any level of sailor (skill), something like an open board; so you have a starting tuning guide on the boat which works well on any condition and then you also receive tuning guides for more advanced tuning steps. From that, you can optimize anyway you prefer and test until you reach amazing speed and agility. But, in order to do that, performance is key and “K2” achieved that goal, I trust we can say that for sure now.
Also…are you are experiencing troubles with your trim (for example in choppy waves and medium wind) as you gain speed easily but you need to gain more height? Fear not, the problem lays most often in these settings, try the following: close leech of mainsail more and if the boat starts to go too high open the mainsail boom with the sheet little bit more out, try to find your optimum there.
