Embedded content from other websites

We use plugin GADWP as an extension for Google Analytics which is used to track metrics on our website.
Who we share your data with & how long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
How we protect your data
We use multiple ‘shields’ such as server-based protection with multi-layer defense against any kind of malicious attacks which might threaten your data. Also, no information is ever shared with any persons who are not working as Administrators or Shop Managers within Sailboat RC Ltd. reducing the chances of losing your data to someone unreliable. Even Administrator can’t see original passwords which is used to acces your account.
What automated decision making and/or profiling we do with user data
Some algorithms might show you a relevant product which you may need considering the items you put inside Cart, that is all automated decision making we are aware of. 🙂

When you purchase from us, we’ll ask you to provide information including your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and optional account information like username and password. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

You agree on our terms and conditions, policies and FAQ once you purchase any orders from us.
We generally store information about you for as long as we need the information for the purposes for which we collect and use it, and we are not legally required to continue to keep it. What we share with others
In this section, we will list who we are sharing data with, and for what purpose. This includes, but may not be limited to, analytics, marketing, payment gateways, shipping providers, and third-party embeds.
We share information with third parties who help us provide our orders and store services to you; for example PayPal, Stripe (credit cards), GADWP, WooCommerce…
We use MailChimp for WooCommerce which works as our mailing extension and newsletter subscription management tool. Here is more data on it: https://www.sailboatrc.com/wp-admin/plugin-install.php?tab=plugin-information&plugin=mailchimp-for-woocommerce&TB_iframe=true&width=600&height=550
In this subsection, we will list which third party payment processors we are using to take payments on our store since these may handle customer data. We’ve included PayPal and Stripe since Bank Direct payment is managed by our clients.
We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
By using Stripe extension, we may be storing personal data or sharing data with an external service. Learn more about how this works.
We also accept payments through Alipay. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Alipay, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.
All payments made through our website and which are in any way connected with orders on our website (or any services we provide) are automatically agreed as contractual agreements where you agree that refunds (or chargebacks) are accepted from the seller (Sailboat RC) only if Sailboat RC CEO confirms that since each case requires review to see if you are applicable for refund under our terms. By placing an order on our website you agree that orders are non-refundable unless Sailboat RC CEO approves it and until we send your refund back. Those cases are usually done when you have some parts which are broken and Sailboat RC manufactured them like that or when some parts are sent damaged before packing. With placing an order, the buyer agrees that all issues will be resolved by contacting Sailboat RC first to see if an arrangement can be made and to see which actions can be taken. Shipping damages are the responsibility of the buyer since we clearly state that you should not sign for the parcel if it is damaged. Also, the buyer agrees that he shall not make an order and then ask for his bank, credit card or any other financial or similar institution to make chargeback or refund – no matter what the reason for that could be. We consider this practice to be a scam and that is not allowed on Sailboat RC website in any way. If you have any questions about our policies, feel free to contact us on our contact form on our website or through our email. We are multiple-awarded World & European Champions and our business aim is premium service so all of those rules are just to protect us from scammers, if you are a normal buyer then you can rest assured we have impeccable service and we will resolve all of our issues once you provide full details of your problem. Thank you for understanding.
Loco plugin which we use doesn’t collect any data from public website visitors.
