DF65/95 6.4V LiFe battery pack + USB charger allows you to choose a complete set or select only a battery or maybe only a USB charger.

The charging time for DF65 / 95 battery is around 1h and 30 min when the battery is almost fully discharged. You can sail for around 3h when the battery is fully charged (approximately). We will ship batteries that are almost full.  The DF65 / 95 USB charger will turn red light when charging and when the charging is completely done this light will turn off. When charging the battery on a USB charger make sure the wires are aligned correctly and that you inserted the battery into the charger properly.

Instructions and advice for proper handling:

  • Check your battery for any damage, broken or punctured cells, and make sure the pack hasn’t gotten bigger or swollen before charging. DO NOT CHARGE THE BATTERY IF ANY OF THE ABOVE IS TRUE.
  • We advise using a specialized fireproof LiPo charging bag (BUY HERE!), as with any LiFe battery.
  • Do not use an inappropriate charger
  • Do not let the battery charge while it is unattended
  • If the battery starts to heat up too much, turn the charger off
  • Do not try to charge a warm battery
  • Don’t charge your battery while it is connected to your RC sailboat
  • Do not use water to put out a fire because Lithium-ion batteries are considered a Class B fire, so a standard ABC, dry chemical fire extinguisher or sand should be used instead
  • Avoid applying water, high temperatures and big pressure on batteries and charger

Storage:
1. For storage over a longer period of time, we recommend charging the battery up to 50% of the nominal capacity. Therefore fully discharge the battery pack and then partially charge it until it is at 50%. In this condition, the battery can be stored for at least half a year at 25°C room temperature without the need to recharge it

2. Do not discharge batteries below 3.3V per cell and also do not charge them exceeding 4.2v per cell

2. Even if you are using your battery regularly every week, always pay attention that the battery is partially charged with at least 30% of the nominal capacity during storage
