IOM High Performance Carbon Spreaders by Sailboat RC – they are ‘clip-on’ so you do not drill the mast where corrosion will start if you puncture a hole in your mast and disrupt aluminium integrity as well. The aerofoil section spreaders reduce the windage of the rig significantly compared to stainless steel spreaders, plus they are lighter which makes them a powerful small tool for your boat. This item is a 1x piece, order more quantity if you require more pieces. We would also like to point out that we are the only manufacturers of our IOM carbon spreaders so if you see our design elsewhere that looks like this, it is most likely a cheap copy which is much heavier compared to ours and has more air drag as well, carbon breaks more often under wind pressure/more force, so rest assured we stay behind our work as this IOM part from carbon has smooth finish with delicate details which required many iterations and upgrades until we released it on our webshop.
